Hold onto your apple carts, folks, THE ATLANTIC CITY CIDER SOCIAL is headed your way! On August 6, attendees will pour onto the world-famous Atlantic City Beach to celebrate the summer and the shore’s newest libation innovations; ciders, meads and other fruit based brews. How about them apples?

The event producers at Good Time Tricycle Productions are anything but new to the festival game in Atlantic City, producing events such as The Atlantic City Seafood Festival, The Atlantic City Tattoo Expo and the annual “apple” of South Jersey’s eye- The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival. Producers are confident that the apple won’t fall far from the tree and The 2016 Atlantic City Cider Social will meet and exceed all expectations with 30 cider/mead brewers, local food exhibitors, live music, a BONFIRE and amusements!

A few years ago, ciders were a super-sweet, rare find sitting at the edge of the alcoholic beverage world. In its current state, cider is becoming more diverse and appeals to both beer and wine drinkers. It is no secret that cider is rising through the ranks of beverage popularity among all demographics. The goal of The Atlantic City Cider Social is to promote and educate attendees on ciders and meads as well as the brewers that create them. This event is the perfect opportunity for cider aficionados, cider lovers and the casual cider drinker to speak to the company representatives and brewers responsible for some of their favorite ciders.

The Atlantic City Cider Social aims to be a true downhome American experience. We encourage attendees to put on their best denim, bob for apples, dance to live folk music acts, take a break at red and white checked picnic tables, and enjoy a mouth-watering caramel apple or slice of pie paired with your cider. This year will be ONE session on August 6th from 6pm-11pm. Advance ticket prices for year 2 have been lowered to $40, that includes your tasting cup, entertainment and cider tastings.

The festival offers a “Designated Driver” ticket price of $15, available at the door, to further encourage attendee responsibility. Attendees are also encouraged to utilize the many transportation options in the Atlantic City area, such as jitneys and cabs.

Tickets for the 2016 Atlantic City Cider Social go on sale Tuesday, May 31. Tickets are $40 in advance (fees apply) online at cidersocial.com or through Eventbrite.com, as well as physical tickts on-sale at Joe Canal's Discount Liquors in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ at their Fire Rd or Black Horse Pike locations, and $50 at the door (if available). All attendees are urged to taste responsibly. Please know your limits and book your hotel rooms now. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted into the show. Valid photo identification must be presented!
